These are all Fort Worth gals who run their own businesses and who we are lucky to call our friends! “There’s nothing like the click of a can opening after a long day or to get a party started, and we love that sound that comes from the one and only Lone River Ranch Water. Founder (and our friend) Katie Beal Brown lets us in on her party trick and how it became such a hit nationwide.
She’s a West Texas gal who moved to the Big Apple, where she would serve her favorite drink from back home at parties. And showing those East Coasters how they do it in the middle of — some would say BFE, others call it God’s country — was what led her to down a new path that she made her own.
With the idea of canning the ranch water cocktail and the support of her husband and family, she took a chance and created one of the most widely known and consumed seltzers on the market. Mix Steve Jobs and Breaking Bad, and you have Katie Beal Brown!
So go get yourself a Ranch Water or two, hell grab the tall boy or the newly canned Ranchrita, and take a listen — you will laugh, learn and leave wanting to have a drink with her!”
“Laine Bechtel — or as we say, legs by Laine, our ass master— is our ultimate girl crush and hot girl extraordinaire. We slid into her DMs a couple of years ago and haven’t looked back — except to look back at it, if you know what we mean.
Founder of Luxe Wellness, Laine is a health, fitness and wellness expert who is all about the hot chick hustle and working with what you’ve got. She’s our personal trainer, and we go hard with our girl, because she goes hard in all aspects of life, from loving to living. Laine loves her body and will make you love yours. She loves her family and friends just as much, and her infectious ways make you want to do better and be better.
When we meet up in the mornings, sometimes way early, we get on with our workouts, and sometimes our sessions turn into mental workouts. Laine has taught Lizzy and me that it’s all about balance, and that it’s ok to enjoy, which sometimes means indulging. So you don’t have to say no to another glass of Sancerre. Restrictions don’t always have to be so strict because what’s the point of living if you’re not REALLY LIVING.
Living the Laine way has been a great mantra for us and we are loving it! We are so gladl we slid into the hot chicks DMs and were grateful she took us on as clients and friends — because now she’s stuck with us!”
“The best thing about Leigh’s job as Editor and Co-owner of The Scout Guide Fort Worth, an informative and elegantly designed publication, is that she gets to work with some of the best people, places, and companies in the city!
When sitting down and chatting it up with Leigh, you get a sense of community and how much it means to her. She loves her family and friends and, just as much, the FW life.
With The Scout Guide, which caught her eye while she was in New Orleans and say its edition, she features everything that Fort Worth has to offer. Real Estate, restaurants, shopping, and more — this is your go-to when it comes to exploring the city for a weekend or as a fulltime resident. Leigh dives in deep and indulges the best of and the must haves!”
