Kirbe recaps the Kirb Appeal team trip to NYC.
Hey there, Big Apple!
We went to NYC for all work and some play, again the KA team can balance best!
It was so great for us to head east to the big city, pull on our City Boots, hit 5th Avenue and put in some work!
The main point of our trip was meeting with a business coach with ActionCoach. Who doesn’t like improving and evolving? It’s been a minute since I have sat in a pretty intense yet constructive classroom like atmosphere from 8 AM to 5 PM. But getting to meeting with like-minded people in a positive environment to better yourself, brand and business — sign us up and count us in.
We met some pretty awesome individuals doing really cool things, game changers if you will. Beyond the motivating moments, there was a lot of work to be done and only more to come since getting home! Good things on the horizon for KirbAppeal.
Ok, on to the play time — because we can’t give all our secrets, especially when there will be interviews shared of exciting guests! For one of the first times of our many NYC trips, we didn’t venture down to the ever busy, over-populated Times Square. We immersed ourselves like the local ladies and not tourists, since we were there for work and all.
A few things to note about NYC (because we will be going back before you know it and will have lots more to write and share):
Tavern on the Green in Central Park is always a must for a pretty view, nice drink and bite to eat, and to cheer on all those who are strolling through the park or getting their work out on.
We have a love for SoHo, Greenwich village and all that it offers. Shopping is always great, popping into any lovely little place for a coffee or a pick-me-up glass of champagne. But we as a group could all agree Lola Taverna was where it’s at! It is a scene and a place to be seen.
Quality Meats was a yummy dinner to end our trip.
All rooftop bars were great because the weather couldn’t have been any nicer.
Look out for more to come from NYC because, like I said, it was a lot of work with just a little bit of fun! So there is much more fun to be had for us in the Big Apple.
See you soon New York — we always love you.
One more NYC rec:
Panna II – great Indian food with an even better atmosphere. It’s close quarters but the whole place is lit up in Christmas lights and decorations.
